SSL - Browse securely with Tronix
Regardless of where you access the Internet from, the connection between your Web browser and any other point can be routed through dozens of independent systems. Through snooping, spoofing, and other forms of Internet eavesdropping, unauthorized people can steal credit card numbers, PIN numbers, personal data, and other confidential information.
The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol was developed to transfer information privately and securely across the Internet. SSL is layered beneath application protocols such as HTTP, SMTP, and FTP and above the connection protocol TCP/IP. It is used by the HTTPS access method.
Why we use SSL?
SSL is the de facto standard for encrypted and authenticated communications between clients and servers on the Internet. All online purchases and browser-based monetary transactions that occur on the Internet should be secured by SSL. More specifically, SSL is a security protocol. Protocols describe how algorithms should be used; in this case, the SSL protocol determines variables of the encryption for both the link and the data being transmitted.
Tronix believe that all browsing should be private to the individual and therefore have ensured that your time on our site is completely secure no matter what page you are on or what product you are viewing. This also applies to when you make any purchase from our site and includes the Paypal payment gateway which is also secured by SSL.
Because we use SSL it allows sensitive information such as credit card numbers, passwords, and login credentials to be transmitted securely. Normally, data sent between browsers and web servers is sent in plain text -;leaving you vulnerable to eavesdropping. If an attacker is able to intercept any data being sent between a browser and a web server they can see and use that information.
How do I know I am Browsing Securely?
You can check to see if you are browsing securely by looking at the address bar at the top of your browser. The Tronix website address bar is shown below this is what you should be able to see.
The address bar at the top of your browser should show a lock
Some browsers will also highlight the lock in green but all browsers will give more information by clicking on the lock as seen in the image below. If you want to see more detailed information regarding the SSL you can click on the Information tab at the bottom of the box
Trusting a website is important - if you can't trust a sites security then you are putting yourself at risk.
Scammers and hackers will, given the opportunity, steal you ID credentials (identity theft) or more seriously could use your payment information including credit card details to buy items without your knowledge.
Our advice is simply this - Stay Safe - Stay Secure - Stay Smart
